NEPS and The TouchPoint Alliance are going to NAHAM this year!

NAHAM is the National Association of Healthcare Access Management – an association for healthcare professionals who work in the areas of patient admissions, registration, finance and other related services. NAHAM focuses on education and professional growth, fair and ethical treatment, and high standards of service. This year the national conference is in San Antonio from May 24 through 27th.

NEPS and The TouchPoint Alliance will be showcasing the NEPS Health e-Connect™ suite of output management solutions, and showing live demos of printing full-color patient wristbands on-demand. With full-color wristbands it’s possible to dynamically print patient photos directly on the wristband for an additional form of positive patient identification, and full color also enables color-coded patient alerts for allergies, fall risk, DNR, etc. NEPS has been helping hospitals to print a wide variety of barcode symbologies over 15 years – including complex 2D barcodes – on anything from simple admission forms to sophisticated labels and wristbands.

We’ve posted some new info on our website about Color and Patient Safety, including a free HIMSS Analytics Whitepaper on this topic that can be downloaded from http://info.neps.com/safety.

We‘re looking forward to seeing everyone in San Antonio and discussing how color can reduce costs and help improve the quality of patient care throughout all functional areas of the hospital. Please stop by our booth – it’s number 110. Hope to see you there!
