Orchestrating Information for Relevant, Personalized Delivery

Xplor-ing Florida

Up here in New England, we have been blessed with a warm and oh-so-dry winter.  So the prospect of spring officially starting this week is almost an after-thought.  I am just enjoying every day.  Last year at this time I was so looking forward to the trip to Florida for the Xplor conference – but I am ashamed to admit that sunshine and warmth were at the top of my mind when anticipating the conference.

I have been around long enough to remember the Xplor conferences of old.  Big, impersonal conference settings and being really exhausted at the end.  I must say, I prefer the smaller more intimate setting of today’s Xplor.  What it lacks in size, it certainly makes up in content, educational opportunities and networking venues. All that – with fun rolled into it!  Not bad.

This year’s theme is “Making it Relevant.”  The website notes that the content includes a new track specifically tailored for executives and “a track that will disrupt your world and focus on change.”  Apparently the content IS relevant because the booths and sponsorship opportunities filled up quickly and the attendance is up.  Way to go, Skip!

Making it Relevant is broken into the following tracks:  Relevant Thought, Design, Results, Executives,  and Planning & Implementing Relevant CCM. These are all timely and, dare I say, relevant topics for today’s challenges.  Check out the details at www.xplor.org/xplor2012

Look for me, Denise and Cheryl at the Solimar booth and all the other really fun places.  See you there – and if you forget your sunscreen, don’t worry, we have you “covered.”  You’ll find out how at registration!
