I'm pleased to announce that on March 5, 2007 NEPS, LLC acquired Art Plus Technology, Inc. Art Plus Technology (APT) is the premier provider of information design and document automation consulting for the financial, insurance and healthcare industries. They have created award-winning designs for firms like AIG, Charles Schwab, Prudential and T. Rowe Price and their technical implementations have been recognized by Exstream Software and PODi among others.
APT's consulting group, led by Liz Tindley, is continuing to operate out of Boston with the same dedicated professionals and commitment to service excellence it has always had. The combined company will bring you a broader range of software and integration tools for implementing document management solutions, and can draw upon APT's extensive pool of design and application development professionals that complement NEPS' existing software development and systems integration resources.
The founder of APT, Elizabeth Gooding, has been a friend and professional colleague for more than a dozen years. Under the new structure, she is the Chief Strategy Officer of NEPS, and I am the Chief Technology Officer. Together, we will bring a wide range of innovative products and services to the market in 2007.
I stepped down as CEO when Bill Lowe joined NEPS as CEO in 2006 following an infusion of growth capital from Hispania Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm. You may recognize Bill as the mover and shaker behind the IBM PC, the Xerox DocuTech, and the Gulfstream V business jet. BillŐs leadership and Hispania's investment have allowed me to focus on product development and service delivery that will be highly beneficial to our customers and business partners.
We appreciate having been able to work with you in the past and look forward to sharing our new capabilities with you at your earliest convenience. To that end, we would like to schedule a conference call or meeting so we may introduce you to the capabilities of the combined firms.
