Available Positions:
The Software Engineer is responsible developing applications based on specifications utilizing the .NET framework and MS SQL Server. This position reports to the Chief Architect.
- Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or other related discipline
- 1-2 years of working experience in computer software development or related areas
- Programming experience in/familiarity with:
- .NET framework
- VB.net
- ASP.net
- C#.net nice to have
- SQL Server 2000+ - creating complicated SQL statements with multiple joins and selects, stored procedures
- .NET Services
- .NET web services
- XML serialize/de-serialize
- XML DOM
- SQL Reporting Services with ASP Pages – nice to have
- Familiar with .net class objects
- Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or other related discipline.
- 1-2 years of working experience in computer software development and/or document composition.
- An understanding of standard data structures such as XML and COBOL Copybooks layouts.
- Programming experience (Java) and integration skills (Web applications and SOA architecture) are valuable. .NET experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of print mail systems and print file formats such as PostScript, AFP and PDF is a plus
- Effective communicator of concepts to technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to contribute to the development of solid business/technical proposals.
- Capacity to effectively handle multiple technical roles in a complex environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes.
The Enabled Print Solutions Programmer/Systems Analyst is highly creative, resourceful, self-motivated and knowledgeable about NEPS applications and the programming, scripting and design conventions behind them. He or she will have advanced knowledge of MS Visual Basic (.NET) and C (and/or C++) programming, and the ideal candidate will have familiarity with SQL query language programming and database management, form design, data mapping, and the associated applications and tools. This role will report to the Vice President of Systems Integration through the EPS Integration Technologies Manager. Although travel is not the core function of this role, the candidate should be prepared to travel, as needed, to assist with on-site installation and support. This is an entry/mid-level programmer/analyst position, experience is preferred, but we will train the right individual.
System Analyst Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with EPS Process Managers to develop customer solutions
- Develop new EPS interfaces and processes and modify existing EPS interfaces and processes as required
- Troubleshoot software issues and provide customer-facing support service
- Collaborate with coworkers to develop creative solutions to difficult customer issues
- Perform Quality Assurance testing with an eye on programming issues
- Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or other related discipline
- Proficiency in MS Visual Basic (.NET), and C/C++ programming
- Proficiency in Web Development technology (ASP)
- Proficiency SQL programming and database Management
- Experience with GUI development and design is desirable
- AS400 environment familiarity is desirable
- Experience with digital form template development and design is desirable
- IT experience is desirable including: Clustering,Virtual Server technology
